Mepilex Dressings are foam pads with a Safetac soft silicone layer which minimizes both trauma to the wound and pain to the patient during dressing changes. The Safetac properties prevent Meiplex from sticking to the moist wound bed yet it adheres gently to the surrounding skin. This gentle adhesion frees both hands for easy application of secondary tape or cover. Mepilex absorbs fluid very well, and ensures a low risk of maceration. These are designed for a wide range of exuding wounds.
