Description
Hydrofera Blue is a foam dressing that has methylene blue and crystal violet bound into the foam cells to provide broad spectrum bacteriostatic protection to the wound. It is easy to use, soft and comfortable on the skin, and has very high fluid absorption. Hydrofera Blue is effective against many microorganisms including MRSA, VRE, staph, pseudomonas, e. coli, plus yeasts and many other bacteria. Hydrofera Blue needs to be covered with a secondary dressing, dependent on the amount of fluid in the wound.
